Saskatchewan's child welfare system is facing numerous challenges. In recent years, the number of children coming into care has steadily increased. For decades, the Ministry of Social Services has experienced ongoing pressure to adequately meet the needs of the vulnerable children and youth in our care. Our goal is to strengthen the system and improve outcomes for children in care.
